Thinking...

Passion...

An intense internal burning for any one thing 

And only that one thing can quench that emotional zeal.

But what if you have nothing that evokes such a feeling

More like a flicker rather than a full out blaze

Frustrated and torn...

Passively perpetrating that which you perceive to personify pieces of your personality. 

The dim flicker isn't nearly strong enough to retain any motivation 

So again on is left to wade in a sea of inconclusive introspections and unfocused goals 

As life steadily floats on by...
