The Gift of Death
(Me just thinking out-loud... This is sort of an incomplete thought)
I have been thinking about this for quite some time now and have been having the most trouble coming up with a formidable answer...
What would you die and/or kill for?
This is an intense question and people make fun of it all the time with silly responses. But when you break it down, in this day and age, this is really not a question to just blow over. Individuals will kill for the slightest of things from sneakers to money (very little) to even cell phones, and simultaneously there are people dying for these very same things.
Killing is not an option for me... My beliefs will not allow me to take a persons life... Outside of selfdefense (Just had to throw that in there)
Death though very inevitable, is a scary concept to fathom. So if my life was to end prematurely I would hope for it to be a valid reason as to why, especially if its my choice... But again.... What would my choice be to give my life for?? Family... Respect... Dignity... Now that I have a child, sacrifices are to be made for the betterment of his life, but could one of those be my life? If need be.... Maybe...
